Organize your legal documents into categories using contract groups


Overview

In this example, we are going to show you how to organize and customize contract groups so they reflect your business.


Out-of-the-box Zendoc automatically organizes your contracts into a dozen of groups: Confidentiality & NDA, Employment, IP & Patent, Lease & Commercial, Loan & Finance, Other Corporate, Stock Purchase, Vendor & Supplier, and Other.


Step 1

In your workspace settings in the top right corner, click first on Document groups.


Step 2

You will see the groups' name on the left and document types associated on the right. The document types come from the document type tags found in the documents.


To change the group a type belongs to, simply drag and drop it.

You can also create and move document types inside the new groups as shown below:

If you wish to delete a group, simply click on the recycle bin on the right side of the line.
